Problem with size

I just received a beautiful pair of your boots. I ordered a size 9. I have several size 9 Gringo boots, and they all fit me perfectly. This pair, however, is impossible to get on my left foot. The right shoe goes on OK; the problem is pushing my foot into the left shoe (it won’t go!)…the sole size is adequate. Since the shoe was a sales shoe, it’s non-returnable and it breaks my heart that I have a beautiful pair of boots that I can’t wear. Just wish that the boot had come with some kind of warning stating that the ankle area is smaller than all other size 9 Gringo boots.
